About Crash Bandicoot: Warped

Crash Bandicoot: Warped is the third game in the Crash Bandicoot series and the first to feature Coco as a playable character. The player takes control of Crash and Coco Bandicoot, who must travel back and forward in time and gather 25 crystals before Uka Uka and Doctor Neo Cortex can do so. Much of the game takes place in the Time Twister which acts as the hub area of the game. The Time-Twister is split up into five chambers, each chamber has five buttons that open portals to different levels. The goal in each level is to find and obtain the crystal hidden in the level. Crash Bandicoot: Warped was lauded by critics in many areas, and the game has been considered one of the best video games of all time.

Isn't it a bit unfair to judge a game this varied against something as narrow as Celeste?

    Cosmo_Lopez

Comparer à Celeste n'a rien d'injuste, ça montre juste que la variété peut valoir autant que la précision.

  2. VinylMaster

It has more variety per level than most platformers of its era, though the vehicle sections haven't aged the same way the running ones have.

I remember borrowing this from a friend at school and having exactly one weekend to beat it before giving it back. I didn't finish it, and honestly the rush kind of ruined the experience for me.

Alors oui les niveaux sont variés, faut pas dire le contraire, mais 448e ça reste franchement gentil pour un jeu qui n'a que ça à proposer, enfin qui avait surtout ça à son époque.

Fair point on the variety, but variety alone doesn't explain why it keeps losing duels against tighter, more focused games.

mdr vs sonic 2 tt le monde dit ça mais personne change d'avis, non ?

    Peltier8

Gentil peut-être, mais pour ce que ça propose ça se tient encore très bien face au reste.

La maniabilité tient mieux que celle de Sonic 2, plus précise (surtout sur les glissades).
