It rewards patience more than skill, and that balance still feels right to me.

What players actually say.
The ranking says which game wins, not why. The why is written on the game pages, one debate per game: here is where the conversation stands today.

StarCraft 43 messages 19 new The balance between the three factions still holds up better than most strategy games try.

Mafia II 41 messages 19 new I keep coming back to how GOOD the period atmosphere feels, the cars, the radio, all of it, even if the open world itself barely gives you anything to do outside missions, which…

Max Payne 3 31 messages 18 new I keep coming back to defend this one every time it shows up in a duel and honestly I'm tired of repeating myself, but here we are again. It's still one of the tightest shooters…

I'll admit I'm not neutral here, but next to Hades this one just rewards patience differently, and I'll pick that every time.

Sailed for hours once, no complaints

Same setup here with my roommate, except we did it with Shovel Knight too and the contrast between the two styles made both stand out more.

its concpet is great but the framerate hitches in some of the bigger open rooms really break the immersion for me

on Ico
Camera fights back at times.

The correction here isn't really a fix, or maybe it's more of a smoothing over, since the sailing pace complaint people keep bringing up was already there in the original design.

Melee rewards speed and reads that snowball fast, this rewards patience and a single correct read at the right moment, both demanding but in almost opposite ways

My roommate had it installed forever and I'd just watch him grind at 2am (never touched it myself back then)

I finished it during a move between apartments and it somehow made the chaos of boxes everywhere feel manageable, weirdly enough.

Got into it during a rough winter a couple years back, and tbh building random stuff at 2am helped more than it should have.

FAQ
Questions about debates
Do I need an account to write in a debate?
Yes: posting a message or replying to someone requires signing up, so that a username stands behind what it writes. Reading, upvoting a message and reporting abuse stay open without an account, under the same anonymous identity as voting.
What happens to a reported message?
It joins a moderation queue without disappearing: a report is an opinion, not a sanction. A message that does get hidden leaves the game page, this page and every counter at once, since all of them are counted at display time.
Can I read a message written in another language?
Yes. Debates are worldwide, just like the ranking: French, English and Spanish messages live in the same thread. A "Translate" button appears on those that are not in the language of the page, and the translation obtained then serves every reader.
Why is my message not on this page?
This page only shows a selection: the busiest game pages, the latest messages and the most upvoted ones. Your message is on the page of the game where you wrote it, and on your public profile, which gathers them all.
