About It Takes Two

It Takes Two is a cooperative action-adventure game designed exclusively for two players, playable in local split-screen or online. Players control Cody and May, a married couple transformed into dolls, as they travel through fantastical environments based on their home and relationship. Gameplay combines platforming, puzzle-solving, and action sequences, with each level introducing new mechanics and giving the two characters different abilities that must be used together to progress. The game frequently changes its core mechanics from chapter to chapter, incorporating sections involving shooting, racing, flight, and other genres.

    Un juego que solo funciona si tienes pareja de mando, qué original, casi nadie tiene con quién jugarlo.

    Encontrar compañero fijo también cuesta con muchos otros juegos coop y no bajan tanto en el ranking.

    Lo jugué con mi hermana durante unas vacaciones larguísimas, turnándonos el mando cuando alguna se cansaba. Terminamos discutiendo por quién controlaba mejor los saltos, cosas de hermanos.

    My sister and I did the same thing but with our parents' old couch, passing the controller back and forth every level or so, it worked way better than I expected honestly.

    Un ELO tan alto para un juego que la mitad de la gente ni pudo probar como se debe, porque encontrar un segundo jugador constante no es tan fácil. El diseño de niveles es muy vistoso, eso no lo discuto, pero como experiencia solitaria simplemente no existe.

    Vous êtes nombreux à comparer un jeu coop à des solos, forcément le classement en souffre un peu selon moi.

    L'expérience solitaire, justement, c'est tout le contraire de Portal où on avance très bien seul. Ici sans partenaire ça perd tout son sens, mais avec un bon binôme ça vaut largement le détour.

    Un binôme moyen et l'énigme traîne trois fois plus longtemps qu'il ne faudrait, j'en garde un souvenir plus laborieux que ravi.

    Lo puse arriba porque cada nivel trae una mecánica distinta, aunque puede que me deje llevar por lo bien que lo pasé jugándolo.
