I play slowly and vote quickly. Super Metroid deserves better.

Against the grain

The games VinylMaster made win while the ranking backed the other one:

Attack on Titan 2 6%
Delta Force: Land Warrior 16%
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut 16%
WWE '12 19%
Battlefield Heroes 22%

The percentage is the chance the ranking gave that game at the time of the vote. The lower it is, the more unexpected the pick was.

On Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

80 hours into RE4 that same year, then this flipped everything I expected from the genre.

On Baldur's Gate III

What sets it apart from Skyrim is how much the choices actually stick, or rather, how often the game remembers them at all compared to just flavor text. Against Witcher 3 though it's closer, the writing there feels more consistent across the whole thing. I still think this one deserves its rank, just maybe not the exact one it has now.

On Rise of the Tomb Raider

Compared to how Half-Life 2 duels usually go, this one leans more on nostalgia votes than actual replays, I'd guess.
