It's a solid game with real ideas, though I wouldn't call it flawless by any measure.
It gets praised mostly for looking pretty, and I get that, but the pacing issues from the original are still baked in here and the remaster doesn't fix the parts that actually dragged. A prettier coat of paint on the same slow middle section.
