My kid plays it now and love it, though the pace test my patient some evenings.

    Neon_Thiel

Sounds familiar, did your kid ever ask why the girl option wasn't there from the start?

The menu navigation alone cost me 20 hours I'll never get back honestly.

It still holds up as a comfort game, the systems are simple but they work, and there's something nice about the pace not demanding much from you. I wouldn't call it a top tier pick against bigger RPGs though, it's just doing something different.

People keep pitting this against open world giants and I get why it loses, different scale entirely, but 66% win rate over 207 duels says the voters disagree with the doubters.

    SammieDragon

not sure why win rate needs defending honestly, isn't 66% over 207 duels exactly the kind of number that ends this debate on its own?

  5. Brice_86

still my favorite version of gold and silver honestly, anyone else replay it every couple years?
