Against Final Fantasy Tactics Advance it's a different kind of game entirely, but the ambition on display here is what stays with me.

Still one of the few RPGs that actually tried something ambitious with its story.

J'ai lu la même chose partout mais moi l'ambition m'a surtout perdu en route, j'ai décroché avant la fin...

Ambitieux, c'est le mot qu'on sort toujours quand on veut éviter de dire daté.

Story reaches further than the budget could follow, still lands more than it should...

I never borrowed a copy, only played it in short bursts at a friend's place, and honestly it never fully clicked for me that way.

The camera rotation was a nice touch for its time but navigating the map with the jump and climb controls feels stiff by modern standards, and some transitions between exploration and battle screens still stutter a bit even now.
