About The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, it utilizes the same engine and visual style as its predecessor. The game retains the traditional elements of Zelda games as well as those introduced in Ocarina of Time, such as active blocking with a shield, various throwing items, and the usage of melodies played on the ocarina to solve puzzles. Compared to the previous Zelda games, this installment is more oriented towards interaction with NPCs and has a larger variety of items, optional quests, and mini-games. It also includes a time system that spans three days, and this cycle must be reset periodically to progress through the game.

I'll admit I'm biased, I've loved this game since I was a kid and I still defend it in every single duel it shows up in.

FrameRex2

But if you defend it every single duel, doesn't that kind of prove my point about the bias?

I get the love, I really do, but every time I see it lose to Doom in these duels I remember why, the pacing just isn't built for a quick session and that matters when people vote

A mí también me costó aceptar el puesto, pero contra Skyrim entiendo por qué pierde tanto

Hebert49

Contre Skyrim ou Arkham, enfin surtout Skyrim, il perd presque toujours, non, tu trouves ça mérité toi ?
CoopPilot2007

I keep coming back to this one over the years. The atmosphere alone justifies its spot in the top fifty for me.

Three days, one moon, and somehow every single side quest feels essential. That's rare enough to deserve this spot.

GhostWolf1989

Same here. Makes me wonder how it stacks up against Doom in these duels.

Anyone else remember the exact moment the transformation masks clicked for them? (mine took embarrassingly long) I still think about that feeling constantly.
NovaMaster2

the sidequests are great tbh but the time limit ruins casual play, cant just relax with this one
