Still one of the better superhero games out there. The combat isn't as deep as what came after, sure, but the atmosphere and pacing hold up really well and that counts for a lot.

Replayed it again last week, same routine, still a solid few hours.

    Alaina_61

Same routine every time, huh? At least the routine holds up better than most sequels do.

    harber_cordia

Similar routine here, or close to it anyway, I go back every couple of years and it never feels like a chore.

Replayed it too. Didn't hold up as well for me.

Played this on a rainy weekend when I had nothing else going on, and it hooked me completely back then. Looking back though I think the nostalgia does a lot of heavy lifting for how it's remembered now.

Same here, borrowed a friend's copy one summer and never gave it back properly.

Améliorée dans la suite directe surtout, non ?

The atmosphere still holds up but the combat loop hasn't aged as gracefully as people claim.

    Miles_44

I felt the same going back to it, the combat loop does show its age a bit (still more than City ever managed for me though).

Is it really fair to keep comparing this to its own sequel every single duel? Doesn't that just guarantee it loses most of the time given how much bigger the follow-up is?
