Same setup here, trading deaths off with a friend, and somehow that made the punishment part of the fun.

And yet 66% doesn't stop it sitting at 324th, so maybe the ranking cares about something else entirely.

Booted this up again recently and the animations still feel stiff by any modern standard, transitions between actions are abrupt and combat timing never quite clicks the way it should, the world design carries it but the actual moment to moment feel hasn't aged as gracefully as people claim.

Only put in a handful of sessions, but even that little was enough to see why people put it above Diablo II in these fights.

I played this on a hand me down PC that could barely run it, and I remember the frame rate dipping constantly and constantly and I loved every second anyway.

Compared to how Deus Ex handles player freedom, this one feels rougher around the edges but somehow more alive in the world itself. Not sure which trade off actually wins in the long run though, does anyone else feel torn on this?
