About FTL: Faster Than Light

In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

I keep coming back to this one even though I know exactly what it's going to do to me, which is kill my crew in some new and creative way I hadn't considered yet, and honestly that's part of why it works, though I do think the early game drags a bit before you find your build.

The randomness is the whole point and also the thing I'd complain about if I had to pick something. Some runs you get a great weapon on sector one and steamroll, other runs you're stuck with nothing and it's just a slow death. Still think it belongs near the top.

Lost my whole crew to a boarding party and still think it earned every one of its wins.

    Replying to Camille_25

you also feel that improvisation in the fights right? mine always turn into panic clicking around minute three
