About Hades

Is there another roguelite out there that manages narrative progression this well without breaking the loop, honestly? I keep coming back to it precisely…

Is there another roguelite out there that manages narrative progression this well without breaking the loop, honestly? I keep coming back to it precisely because dying never feels like starting from zero.

People act like this reinvented the genre but Isaac did the run variety first, this one just added voice acting and a family therapy subplot, both great, different itch though.

The progression curve is the whole point, though. It's built to lower the barrier so the story keeps unfolding, not to remove challenge entirely.

Overrated grind dressed up as story. 148th feels generous honestly.

Isaac rewards obsessive knowledge, this rewards patience with people. Different itch entirely.
