About Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 redefined an already great game. Its addition of stellar new features (like Create-A-Park), and great game-play tweaks (the manual maneuver will be copied for years to come) made it the best installment in a killer series of games. Anyone who has ever skated the Philadelphia level will agree -- this game is a masterpiece of level design. Hell, it's a masterpiece all around. There isn't a bad park or dull moment, just pure gaming nirvana!

I picked this up again during a rough winter a few years back, just to have something familiar running in the background, and ended up spending entire evenings chasing high scores I used to hit without thinking, it wasn't as automatic as I remembered but it came back fast.

Pareil, j'y suis retourné une année compliquée et ça n'a pas mis longtemps à revenir.

I played it on and off during a slow work week and the manual trick alone made the whole thing click for me

Same here honestly, the manual clicking is nice but I don't have much energy left to argue if that alone justifies the ranking

I never really finished it properly, mostly just messed around with friends after school. Still remember the manual mechanic feeling completely new at the time.

les tricks, les tricks, ça reste pas magique, la manette n'a rien d'exceptionnel

Anyone else remember spending an entire afternoon just trying to link one combo across the whole level? Did people actually finish the career mode back then or just mess around like I did?

    TurboLegend

Perso le mode carrière je l'ai fini une fois, le reste du temps c'était juste enchaîner les combos pour le plaisir

Funny how it still shows up against modern racing games like Blur. Back then nobody imagined skating games would age this gracefully.
