Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 redefined an already great game. Its addition of stellar new features (like Create-A-Park), and great game-play tweaks (the manual maneuver will be copied for years to come) made it the best installment in a killer series of games. Anyone who has ever skated the Philadelphia level will agree -- this game is a masterpiece of level design. Hell, it's a masterpiece all around. There isn't a bad park or dull moment, just pure gaming nirvana!

    I picked this up again during a rough winter a few years back, just to have something familiar running in the background, and ended up spending entire evenings chasing high scores I used to hit without thinking, it wasn't as automatic as I remembered but it came back fast.

    I played it on and off during a slow work week and the manual trick alone made the whole thing click for me

    Same here honestly, the manual clicking is nice but I don't have much energy left to argue if that alone justifies the ranking
