The year is 1998. The Bravo Team of S.T.A.R.S., an elite special forces squad, has gone radio silent, and its Alpha Team has been dispatched to the forest on the outskirts of Raccoon City to investigate this mysterious disappearance.     The atmosphere still holds up incredibly well. The combat feels stiff by any modern standard though.

    Yo también noto el combate rígido pero para mí eso obliga a pensar antes de disparar, y esa lentitud es justo lo que sostiene la tensión, ¿no creen que un combate más fluido rompería el equilibrio del juego?

    cual te dio mas miedo real, el combate tosco o la camara fija? pq para mi el ranking deberia pesar eso mas que el pulido

    Only put in maybe fifteen hours total across a couple sessions but that was enough to get why people call it foundational, the mansion design alone (still think about that layout sometimes) does more with less than most modern horror games manage.

    Les tank controls fonctionnaient avec cette caméra, oui, mais face à ce qu'offre Resident Evil 4 en fluidité, la nostalgie du système ne suffit pas à le sauver.

    J'ai jamais tenu plus de deux sessions non plus, mais je me souviens surtout d'avoir eu peur d'avancer dans le couloir suivant, un soir de semaine tranquille chez moi.
