About Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza: Kiwami is an enhanced remake of the original Yakuza game for PlayStation 2, not just an HD port. While the original PS2 release also had English voice-acting for western release, this PS4 remake only retains Japanese voice-acting for authenticity with available subtitles for other countries.

ELO progression

Score moved from 1,500 to 1,777 ELO points over the last 170 days.

Oh sure, I definitely played this for the gripping economic simulation, right.

The combat loop is satisfying early on, but it gets repetitive fast once side content piles up.

  3. VinylByte

I picked this up right after finishing Sleeping Dogs, wanted more of that crime city vibe, and ended up spending a whole month wandering the same few streets over and over. Sleeping Dogs felt more like a game about a place, this one felt more like a game about people.

  4. BossRex

Would this even survive a straight fight against Sleeping Dogs on tone alone?

    TurboPhoenix2006

    NovaOwl

Tone alone feels like a weird bar honestly, and it kind of proves the point that people keep comparing instead of judging this on its own thing.
