Doom II: Hell on Earth is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and released in 1994 as a sequel to the original Doom. The game continues the story, with players battling through Earth after it has been invaded by demonic forces.
Gameplay remains similar to its predecessor, featuring fast-paced combat, maze-like levels, and an array of weapons, including the introduction of the powerful Super Shotgun. Doom II also adds new enemy types, such as the Arch-vile and the Mancubus, increasing the game's challenge.
Initially released for MS-DOS, Doom II has since been ported to numerous platforms, becoming a cornerstone of the FPS genre.

Not two hundred here, but I logged enough weekends on this that my parents started asking questions... good questions, in hindsight

Two hundred hours sounds about right honestly, and next to stuff like Call of Duty or Halo it plays like a completely different sport, faster, meaner, no hand holding anywhere

Y hasta ahora nadie ha mencionado que en muchos duelos ni siquiera compite con algo de su misma época

Doscientas horas no, pero varias tardes enteras sí, y no me arrepiento

It's sitting at 92nd and honestly that feels about right for how these duels tend to go.

I still remember the first time that door opened and I just froze, best jump scare energy a shooter ever gave me!!

A mí me pasó algo parecido con un vecino, los dos gritamos y luego nos reímos como tontos

Pareil, l'enthousiasme retombe vite quand on y rejoue vraiment aujourd'hui, l'ambiance reste solide par contre

I remember playing this at a friend's house after school, or maybe it was during a break, my memory's fuzzy on that part, but the shotgun sound stuck with me forever.

Yo también era chico cuando lo escuché por primera vez, y ese sonido nunca se me fue de la cabeza, curioso lo que dura eso

That shotgun sound honestly still lives in my head somehow...

Ah pareil, cette histoire de bruit de fusil à pompe qui reste gravé, moi c'est carrément ma manière de tester une nouvelle enceinte, aussi bête que ça puisse paraître

Doesn't hold up, not really, not compared to what came after it.
