Compared to Neverwinter Nights 2 the systemic freedom here is way ahead, though NWN2 still wins me over on story pacing sometimes.

Group dialogue fights are their own genre of chaos honestly, did anyone else's group nearly split over a single choice?

I've put a good chunk of time into both this and Neverwinter Nights 2, and honestly I think the systemic freedom here goes further, even if the writing in NWN2 hit me harder at times

Played it during a rough winter (long story) and it carried me through more than I expected

Winters like that make the ranking feel earned.

I always picture people finishing this solo, but the way our group argued over dialogue choices was half the fun, and ranking it without mentioning that feels like missing the point of why it's so replayable with friends
