About A Plague Tale: Innocence

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a third-person action-adventure game set in 14th-century France during the Black Death. Players control Amicia, a young girl protecting her little brother Hugo as they flee the Inquisition and navigate environments overrun by swarms of plague rats. Gameplay combines stealth, puzzle-solving, and light combat, with an emphasis on using fire and light to manage the rat hordes.

    Alright, I'll admit it, I picked this up expecting a cute stealth game and ended up traumatized by rats for a week, worth every second.

    Une semaine à se méfier des rats, ça montre au moins que l'ambiance fonctionne, même si le combat reste secondaire.

    Une ambiance similaire, perso je l'ai fait cet hiver aussi, seul chez moi, mm sensation de calme oppressant tt du long.

    À côté de Horizon ou de The Last of Us il fait pâle figure (pour moi en tout cas).

    Pâle figure, vraiment ? Est-ce qu'on compare deux jeux comparables au moins, vu qu'un des deux est un open world massif et l'autre non ?

    ça reste discret niveau technique mais l'ia des rats et les effets de masse sont hyper convaincants

    Les rats en masse, ça reste le vrai tour de force technique du jeu, j'ai toujours du mal à croire que ça tourne aussi bien.

    tbh the rat swarms impressed me way more than any combat in horizon, my roommate literally jumped watching them spread
