The 77% win rate says more than the rank itself honestly. A game doesn't hold that kind of number for this long by accident, it's the VOTES that keep proving the point.

Compared to Symphony of the Night, does a platformer this focused even belong in the same bracket? Genuinely curious how people rank these.

Honestly I never got the love for the barrel cannons, they feel like padding dressed up as a mechanic if you ask me, and I say that having actually finished the game twice on different systems, once way back and once more recently just to be sure I wasn't misremembering it.

    QuestRunner25

The padding complaint keeps coming back and I still don't buy it, those cannon sections teach you timing you need later anyway.

The level variety carries it more than people admit, honestly, since the difficulty alone wouldn't hold up this long.

I only put a couple hours into it and honestly it's fine, but I don't see why it beats games with way more depth.

I'll admit I'm biased since I grew up on this, but calling it fine after a couple hours misses the whole point of the level design.
