SaveByte40
Same silence got me, I dont even remember the monsters as much as those empty rooms between fights, still думаю about it honestly
Ghost_Collet
NeonKid94
Same feeling here (I braced for way worse tbh), clicking still feels sharp after all this time
GhostByte2
Rudolph_2
My uncle had this running on his PC and I just watched, mesmerized by how dark everything looked
Samuel_75
mae14
Reading about the camera and interface struggles makes total sense, I remember fighting the inventory way more than the monsters, good times honestly!

EmileWarden
fair but low playtime cuts both ways imo, the dungeons reward actually sitting with them for a while, not just dipping in for a few short sessions here and there
CoopKnight4
Compared to Hades it feels slower and heavier in every sense, less about reflexes and more about grinding your way down, and I think both approaches deserve their spot honestly
LootRex2
ChaddOwl
Compared to Hades it feels ancient in the best way, no dashes no fancy narrator, just click and die repeatedly, and honestly I keep coming back to it more than I expected
AllieRider
Same energy here, controls held up better than I braced for
IronKnight2004
We did the same thing, passed the keyboard back and forth until we both understood the potions.
Frame_Rippin
agree it hits different, click and die is oddly addictive ngl but the inventory management drags a bit

Held up better than braced, sure, my keyboard on the other hand did not survive the click marathon of ninety-six revival runs.
CosmoSniper3
Is it really fair to call it slower when half of Hades runs are just as much about repetition, or am I misreading what people mean by pacing here?
Alfonso_1993
En réponse à AllieRider
Same here honestly, braced for clunky controls and instead just clicked away for hours without a single complaint.

yeah exactly, taking turns on the keyboard was basically the tutorial nobody designed on purpose, worked anyway
PixelKid
ArcadeNinja
Next to Into the Breach it feels like the ancestor nobody credits enough (not that Breach owes it anything directly, just a feeling)
FrameRex2
Ancestor nobody credits, sure, but at least nobody's asking it to dash cancel anything
IronWolf
juanita56
I first played this at a friend's house and we took turns since only one of us could really figure out the controls at first, it took us a whole evening just to get past the early levels but neither of us wanted to stop
ComboWarden
Far Cry 2, jamais fini. Diablo, 40 heures au moins.
ArcadeWarden2
Figuring out controls together, that was basically half the fun, or plutôt half the challenge back then honestly.
GhostSamurai
Oh sure, let's rank it 67th, right below whatever's trendy this month, because clearly a randomized dungeon crawler from the nineties needs to prove itself against games with fancy dash buttons and voice acting budgets
rossi_celina
VinylOwl
Ranking it against dash button games misses the point, next to slower strategy stuff of its era it still feels ahead of the curve honestly.
QuestBard
My roommate had it installed forever and I'd just watch him grind at 2am (never touched it myself back then)
QuestDragon93
Never touched it back then either, wish I had, sounds like the better way to experience it actually.
IronKid2
Tristan_42
Ah tiens...
NovaOwl
Into the Breach asks you to think three moves ahead, this one just asks you to keep clicking until the loot finally drops, and weirdly both scratch the same itch for me even if they couldn't be more different in execution
Adelbert_90
far cry 2 gets more hate lately but honestly diablo aged rougher in some ways, the interface especially, still love it though
NeonDragon
far cry 2 getting more hate makes sense to me, this one at least has dungeons that still surprise you on a second run
