Sur Demon's Souls

Comparing it to Metroid Prime always feels a little unfair, or maybe unfair isn't the word, more like they're solving different problems entirely, one is about isolation and scanning your surroundings, the other about dread and never feeling safe even in a corridor you've cleared twice.

Sur Resident Evil

That one door got me too honestly, I remember gripping the controller way too hard, though I'll admit the puzzles around it haven't aged the same way the atmosphere has.

Same energy here honestly, weekends waited for like a ritual (mine was borrowed from a cousin, not a brother) and finishing it as an adult hits different.
