The anti-gravity sections hold up better than most tracks from that era, tight controls and almost no input lag online. Compare that to GTA V's arcade racing…

Mario Kart 8 is a kart racing game in which players control characters from the Mario universe and other Nintendo franchises. Racers compete on themed tracks using power-ups found in item boxes to gain advantages or hinder opponents. The game introduces anti-gravity sections where players drive on walls and ceilings, gaining speed boosts from collisions. It supports up to twelve players online, four locally on one system, and features modes including Grand Prix racing and arena-based battles. Vehicle customization allows players to mix kart bodies, wheels, and gliders. The Nintendo Switch version, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, includes all previous downloadable content, a revamped battle mode with dedicated arenas, and accessibility features for newer players.

The anti-gravity sections hold up better than most tracks from that era, tight controls and almost no input lag online. Compare that to GTA V's arcade racing minigames and there's no contest in terms of handling precision. Frame pacing on Switch is smoother than the Wii U version ever managed too.

Wasn't thinking handling, just remembered splitting four controllers for hours on this one.

Put this against San Andreas and it's not even close, this one just feels alive every single race!!

Against San Andreas maybe, but does it really hold up the same way against something built for pure speed like Underground...

Vaya, otro clásico "insuperable" que en realidad es Deluxe con menos pistas.

Same energy here, I put it against San Andreas last week and it steamrolled, the drifting alone does more work than half that game's vehicle roster.
