About Doom: The Dark Ages

A single-player first-person shooter and prequel to Doom (2016).     Soy parcial, lo admito, llevo defendiéndolo desde que salió, but I still think this ranking undersells it against these rivals.

    I've only put maybe fifteen hours into it so far, but the combat loop already feels more deliberate than what Half-Life offers, even if the pacing of the older game still wins for me overall.

    The shield saw combat is genuinely satisfying, my wallet disagrees since I keep buying skins I definitely do not need, but the pacing in the middle stretch drags a bit for me.
