I still think about the map screen more than most puzzle games I've finished twice over. It never explains itself and somehow that's the whole point. Doesn't…

Antichamber is a single-player first-person puzzle-platform video game. Many of the puzzles are based on phenomena that occur within the Impossible Objects created by the game engine, such as passages that lead the player to different locations depending on which way they face, and structures that seem otherwise impossible within normal three-dimensional space. The game includes elements of psychological exploration through brief messages of advice to help the player figure out solutions to the puzzles as well as adages for real life.

I still think about the map screen more than most puzzle games I've finished twice over. It never explains itself and somehow that's the whole point. Doesn't need flashy visuals to make rooms feel wrong in a good way, and that's rare enough to matter for its ranking.

Portal 2 tiene una narrativa que te guía, este juego te suelta sin red, no sé si eso lo hace mejor o solo distinto.

Guiding versus letting go isn't a ranking argument though, plenty of guided games rank higher and deserve to

People keep calling it a puzzle masterpiece. It's a corridor with a mood board taped to the walls. The puzzles themselves are thin once you strip away the disorientation trick.

its concpet is great but the framerate hitches in some of the bigger open rooms really break the immersion for me

not the first walking sim comparison it'll get, but it plays nothing like Portal 2 once you're actually inside it.

Played it right after a breakup and the disorientation matched my mood more than any comparison to Portal 2 ever could.

played through it again during a slow week off work and forgot how uneasy the early rooms still make me, tbh the color coded gun mechanic near the end drags a bit but the disorientation stuff never stopped working on me.
