The walk sim label stings a bit, but honestly the puzzle content backs up that joke more than people want to admit.
It rewards patience in a way few games from that generation did, especially with how the combat ties into positioning and timing rather than just stats. The story stays cryptic on purpose and I think that's part of why it still gets discussed.
