Why does everyone treat the nemesis system like a gimmick when it's basically the whole reason people still bring this game up in duels?
Madyson_88
215th with a 61% win rate is a strange combo, it usually means people respect it in a duel but nobody's pushing it up the board. The nemesis system alone should carry it higher against most of what it faces.

Nemesis system, sure, but Skyrim gives you a world worth remembering after you've forgotten every orc captain.

I've tracked its rank on and off for MONTHS and it barely moves either way, which tells me the voters are just consistently split

la maniabilité au corps à corps reste agréable après toutes ces années, tu trouves que ce plateau vient d'où au juste

Played through it during a rainy autumn a couple years back and the orc rivalries were fun for maybe ten hours, then I noticed I was fighting the same three personalities recycled endlessly.
Eloisa_40
Ten hours isn't nothing, and pretending the system runs dry that fast ignores everyone still replaying it.
BossRex
Did the recycled personalities bother you before or after you started branding every captain you saw just to feel something?

I picked it up on a whim after a breakup, needed something mindless, and ended up hooked on branding captains for two straight weekends. The story itself I barely remember, honestly it's the systemic stuff that carried the whole experience for me.

Two weekends branding captains and you still barely remember the story, that kind of says everything about why it sits at 215.

Breakups and captain-branding, a classic combo apparently, never gets old to hear that one.
Frame_Rippin
lol same, breakup era gaming hits different, no regrets tho

Comparado con Skyrim se siente mucho más limitado en exploración, pero el sistema de némesis le da algo que ni Skyrim ni God of War han intentado copiar del todo.
trussel
Fair point on NEMESIS

Le système de némésis unique, ils ont dit, avant de le ressortir tel quel dans la suite deux ans après

So we agree the nemesis system carries it, but why does that translate to a 62% win rate and not higher against Skyrim specifically?
NovaMaster2
not gonna pretend the nemesis system fixes everything. i sank 40 hours in and the exploration still felt like padding between orc fights.

Le système de nemesis, c'est vraiment ce qui justifie encore sa place aujourd'hui
