    Compared to Risen 2 the combat is basically nonexistent, but the dread it builds at night on open water beats most horror games I've played (my heart rate disagrees with me every time).

    The dread is the point, not the combat, for me at least.

    The inventory management is genuinely stressful in a good way but the sailing controls feel a bit stiff on longer runs

    Tourner en rond, justement, c'est presque le principe. On rentre au port, on repart, la peur monte à chaque sortie.

    I liked how the fishing loop stayed calming even while the story around it got darker and darker.

    It's short, it's tense, and it doesn't overstay its welcome... which is rare enough these days
