So does anyone actually check these duel numbers or do we just repeat the same score every thread? Seventy percent against that lineup seems solid, but I want to know if it's climbing or stuck.

Man i was maybe ten when i first got my hands on this, didnt understand half the puzzles but loved every sec of it.
LootPlayer95
Oh sure, another platformer with a bird backpack that everyone calls a masterpiece. Fine, it mostly earns it.
Matteo_2007
The camera fighting the geometry is the one thing that really shows its age, I noticed that again replaying it with my nephew last month.
Elmer_2002
Fine my foot, this thing wins 70% of its duels, ppl can call it whatever they want honestly.
Frame_Rippin
camera's rough by todays standards, controls still hold up tho, honestly a fair trade
Álvaro_72
Bernadette_66
Pareil chez nous.
IronKnight2004
Me and my roommate always end up bringing this one up whenever Mario 64 comes on the TV, different vibe entirely.
TurboPhoenix2006
Ah oui, forcément, différente vibe...
Craig_2007
Oh yeah, I definitely remember every single one of the nine hundred notes fondly, truly a core memory.
IronDragon41
Nah, mine actually stuck, the wrinkly finger note gag still gets me.
NeonDragon
The witch plot barely counts as a reason to keep going, right?
Rudolph_2
The witch plot is basically an excuse to move you between worlds, same as Mario's cake letter, and honestly that's all it needs to be.

CosmoHunter49
Same summer feeling here, minus the cousin, just me and a rental copy that stayed way past its due date.
Iron_Shields
Why does nobody mention how tight the moveset actually feels? Twenty four moves and barely any of them feel wasted. Isn't that worth more recognition at this rank?
Corwin18
Twenty four moves and I still remember fumbling half of them, maybe sixty hours total across every replay I did.
jmetz
Barely noticed the moveset back then honestly, I was just trying to get past the first world without dying constantly, took me a week.
Homenick28
Does anyone else think the note collecting drags in the back half? You all praise the moveset, and fair enough, but the pacing gets rough near the end honestly, doesn't it slow things down for everyone else too?
VinylOwl
Mario 64 gets the movement praise, but I still think about the note count more, weirdly enough.
meza_dario
Turbo_Shields
nah, votes don't lie though, that 70% says enough for me
Jacques_85
mae14
The way it comes back up every time Mario 64 gets brought up says everything about how good it still is!
Peltier8
BossNinja1986
Super Mario 64 probably edges it on pure movement (no shade intended), but this one built a better world to poke around in honestly.
NovaRider
Same energy here honestly, every collectathon after it tried the same trick and none quite nailed the balance.
Leo_91

HaileyKnight
Same treadmill here, honestly, must be my three hundredth vote on this exact matchup by now and my opinion never moves.
BossWolf
rowe_trystan
Wait no, that was different game...
casas_ander
ArcadeKnight2
Funny how everyone keeps arguing rankings while it just quietly keeps winning duels regardless, that's the real answer here.
LuckyMaster
