And that's exactly why it works, basic combat with great writing beats flashy combat with nothing to say

On Rayman Legends

this game destroys Braid in terms of sheer joy, no contest there, Braid is clever but it never once made me smile like the musical stages do, and against Sands of Time it's not even close either, way more replayable for me.
