128e me parece bajo.

    VinylOwl

Reading that made me think of my own playthrough tbh, the station became this weird comfort zone even with monsters lurking in every vent.

Doesn't the duel record already answer that? Solid 68% speaks louder than any breakup story.

  3. LuckyMaster

Comparado con Bioshock, gana en tensión pura.

  4. Johnnie_22

anyone else remember the exact moment they realized something in the room wasn't furniture? tell me I wasn't the only one who jumped

    GhostLegend98

    Kihn76

Every time this game comes up against Doom in a duel I check the vote split out of habit, it's become a weirdly reliable barometer for me.

    Cosmo_Corrales

  7. stephen_schumm

The atmosphere and the station design are genuinely excellent, probably some of the best environmental storytelling in the genre for that era. My issue is the back half, where the pacing sags and a lot of backtracking starts feeling like padding rather than tension.

    LuckyHunter

The environmental storytelling got me too, though I'd take the station over anything Doom offers on that front, it just breathes differently.

  8. RachelleLegend

Ppl keep comparing it to Bioshock Infinite like it's some huge insult when honestly the comparison does Prey a favor most of the time.

  9. Peltier8

    CoopKnight4

I did the exact same thing, alone at night, and I regret nothing beacuse it made every sound worse.

  10. Crit_Becker

It's a good game but the constant backtracking wears you down after the halfway point honestly.

    Kuphal99

Reminds me of my own first playthrough actually, I stopped noticing the backtracking because I was too busy hoarding every scrap I could find.

  11. BerryRunner

Oh no, another thread about how this game deserves top 50, tell me again how the crafting system reinvented the genre while I check my inventory for the fortieth mimic of the session.

  12. NeonWarden

The crafting and the way the station rewards curiosity make it stand apart, you're constantly rewarded for poking into vents and side rooms most games would leave empty. It drags a bit in the last stretch, sure, but the first two thirds are some of the best exploration design I've played.

    NeonKnight12

    Ally_1998

the vents got me too, poking around felt worth it most of the time

    Vinyl_Millet

the last third dragging out is real but compared to bioshock infinite's ending this one still respects your time way more

    QuestDragon1998

the curiosity reward is real, though for me the last stretch undercut how good the first parts felt

  13. LootPlayer95

oh sure let's rank it below stuff that copies half its ideas, makes total sense

  14. TurboBard

    Coop_Hagenes

I felt the same slowdown near the end, though the station itself kept me interested enough to push through.

  15. FramePlayer

Put about 40 hours into it total across two playthroughs, and next to Doom it's almost the opposite experience, one wants you to slow down and think.

    rowe_trystan

Same 40h range for me, but honestly the duel record says more than my playtime ever could.
