This game deserves WAY more recognition than it gets, the boss fights are absolutely incredible and the atmosphere pulls you in from minute one, I've replayed it three times already and each run feels fresh with different builds

Compared to Dragon Age: Origins, this leans so hard on reflexes that the actual world feels thin once the combat high wears off

my son watched me die to the same boss maybe thirty times and started calling it "the puppet that wins", and honestly he wasn't wrong for weeks, the game is impressive but I think people rank it higher out of frustration turned pride

my brother and i also passed the controler back and forth, though we gave up around the third boss and went back to Mass Effect instead

We passed the controller back and forth all week, felt like a boss rush marathon

Why does this game still fly under the radar for so many people (seriously)?

Compared to what dominates western RPGs right now, the combat here feels sharper and more deliberate, even if the world isn't as vast or reactive as something like The Witcher 3

My couch has permanent dents from how hard I gripped it during certain fights, I should probably get that checked out

Say what you want but this game earned every bit of respect it gets from me, the combat system rewards patience in a way few games manage without feeling cheap, and the world design pulls you in even when you're furious at a boss for the tenth time

    Rudolph_2

The patience point hits home, I learned to read one specific attack pattern and everything clicked after.

Nuance my foot. It's good but it does not deserve to be that close to actual legends

    JazlynMaster

my daughter watched half of it over my shoulder and even she said the difficulty spikes felt unfair sometimes

    Rowena_2009

Fair criticism honestly, though I'd put it above Genshin Impact any day just for how tight the combat feels

    GhostWolf

It absolutely deserves that recognition, the sofa marathon crowd doesn't get it and that's fine

    GhostSamurai

Oh sure, let the classement decide everything, that's definitely not chaotic at all

    thompson_raleigh

my kid calls him "metal Pinocchio" and asks for him by name over anything else we own, that's ENORMOUS in this house

    LootAce
