    qstanton

Loading screens aside, the level design itself doesn't ask much of you

  2. Abernathy37

Sixty percent win rate and people still act like it's some kind of fluke. It's not.

    Glover97

fluke fluke fluke, numbers say otherwise tho

    Jameson_1984

Funny how everyone screams fluke until the numbers back it up, then suddenly it's... something else entirely to argue about instead.

    JazlynMaster

If the ranking bores you, does that mean the game itself did too, or just the endless back and forth about it?

    GhostByte2

    Destinee_94

Played it during a slow winter, kinda like Portal 2 did for me years back, anyone else pair those two?

    RustyRider

Same discussion forever, sure, but I still smile every time I boot this thing up!!

    RetroSniper1988

Same argument every time I check this thread, feels like the exact loop I get stuck in replaying the planets myself.

    TurboPhoenix2006

  4. RachelleLegend

It gets ranked like some kind of technical showcase and nothing else, which honestly undersells everything it actually tries to do.

  5. ArcadeOwl

Fun for a weekend, forgettable by the next one.

    BossMaster2010

Forgettable by the next weekend? Must be why people are still typing paragraphs about it here, huh.

  6. Lynn_2005

My kid picked it over Sonic every weekend for a month, and watching her get excited about jumping between worlds made me appreciate the design way more than I expected to.

  7. PixelRider1988

Duels against Portal never end well for it historically, but against Sonic it wins nearly every time.

    CoopRunner

You'd think Sonic would put up more of a fight, my nephew still picks it every time we play together.

  8. feil_oma

I feel like putting it next to The Last of Us Part I is almost unfair to both, they're just aiming at completely different things.

    GlitchPilot2

Different aims exactly, and that's why comparing win rates between them never really tells the full story.

    Combo_Goldner

Different goals, sure. Still deserves the spot it holds.

    Rogue_Williamson

I got maybe eight hours in before life got busy again, anyone else drop it without meaning to?

  9. QuestDragon2008

Against Portal it just can't compete on ideas, the puzzle logic runs circles around it, but on pure spectacle and energy it wins that fight easily.

    PixelKid

The visuals still blow my mind every single time I boot it up, though I do think the story wraps up a bit too fast for how good the setup was!!

    Thiel1995

the ending pace is real but I'll take it

  11. Audrey_55

I only get an hour here and there most weeks, and this is one of those games where even a short session feels complete, which I appreciate more than I used to.

  12. RogueHunter

264th with a 60% win rate is stronger than most people give it credit for.

    Desiree_87

264th feels generous already, honestly, win rate against random matchups doesn't erase how quickly it fades once you finish it.

  13. IronKid2

  14. TurboMaster16

Played it right after finishing something way more demanding and honestly it felt like dessert after a heavy meal, which some people say like it's an insult but I don't mean it that way at all, it just went down easy and I didn't mind that one bit

    Coop_Kuvalis

Dessert works for me too, plenty of heavy games out there, did you go back to the demanding one after or take a break?

  15. QuestRex5

Why does a game this polished keep sitting outside the top spots? Is it just because it doesn't have the prestige of the older franchises it gets matched against?

    Toy58

Prestige is one thing, but the older franchises also had decades to build that trust up.

    meza_dario
