Iron_Mitchell
Fair, but not for everyone.
Ghost_Archuleta

Same problem I had with Minecraft honestly, first hours amazing, then the magic just wears wears thin fast.
Samuel_75
FramePlayer
Compared to what usually tops these lists, it's short, but it's smarter with its length.
SaveKid
At least Minecraft gives you something to do after the jokes run out.
CoopRider
What sells it for me is how the writing tracks your patience, not just your choices. The narrator adjusts tone depending on how long you've been messing with him, and that kind of reactive pacing is rare even now, most branching games just swap text, this one actually listens
mae14
the pacing thing is so real, I noticed the narrator getting kinda snippy when I dawdled and it made me laught out loud
NovaMaster2
Everyone acts like this is some genre-defining classic but it's basically a walking sim with a smug narrator, and I'm tired of seeing it ranked above games with actual depth.

I played it with my roommate reading choices out loud, we laughed way more than expected.
VinylOwl
Reminds me of that same living room energy, minus the building and crafting part
CritRex56
Not everyone needs a co-op run to get it.
Ally_1998
Feels like the anti Minecraft in a way (no building, no sandbox, just a script), and that contrast is what stuck with me
Donato_1990
Same energy here, my playthroughs were all short bursts (never planned, just whenever curiosity hit)
Arnaude_40
Kuphal99
Same thing happened at my place, we passed the keyboard back and forth arguing over which door to pick.

Funny how it always becomes a group thing even solo, my two friends kept yelling at me through the door choice too.
Maryse_49

Its win rate says more about who bothers voting than about the game.
RachelleLegend
Can we stop pretending this beats every other narrative game just because it's clever once? You all vote like it's untouchable and it's not.
Vinyl_Millet
PixelKnight
Compared to stuff like Persona 5 this thing has like a tenth of the runtime and somehow sticks with me just as long, that's the real trick nobody talks about enough.
edwardo_schulist
Why does everyone treat the narrator gimmick like it reinvented the medium? Genuinely asking, because outside that one trick what's actually here, and why does the trick get discussed more than anything else the game does
VinylPhoenix
LootNinja25
My sister picked the choices, I just walked, and somehow that was the fun part.
CoopKnight4
I'd argue the choosing matters more than people think, half the fun for me was second guessing my own picks.
Bayer15
Never sat down for a full run, just twenty minutes here and there whenever a friend mentioned an ending I hadn't seen
CoopAce
I clocked maybe 3 hours total across two playthroughs, and honestly the movement feels a bit stiff for a game this dialogue-driven. No lag though, no weird load screens breaking the narrator's timing, which matters more than people admit here
IronKnight2004
started as a two player thing at my place too, one of us on keyboard, both of us yelling at the narrator
NovaLegend
Same short runtime here (barely noticed the hours pass) but no lag issues either, that consistency counts for something
GhostByte2
Sympa la première fois, jamais rejoué depuis.
heller_brain
Bien résumé.
