I get that it wins a lot of duels, but I think that says more about the matchups than the game itself. It's a fine platformer for its time, but ranking it this high above sharper, more demanding titles feels like nostalgia doing the heavy lifting rather than actual design merit.

Nostalgia is fine but I clocked maybe 40 hours total across two saves and the chases got repetitive way before the story did, if that says anything.
The scenario design holds up fine (better than most remembered fondly for no reason), the ranking feels generous.
