    Prefiero este a Diablo II, aunque sé que es una comparación rara.

    It reaches for something ambitious and doesn't quite land all of it, but I've argued this point enough times across enough threads that I'm not sure repeating it changes anyone's mind.

    Why does it keep losing duels to Witcher 3 when the writing holds up just as well if you ask me... is it really about quality or just about which fanbase shows up to vote that day?

    I think about how it compares to the original a lot: the first game had a cleaner arc, but this one takes more risks with tone and asks harder questions about the Force itself... it's messier but the ambition sticks with me more.

    I only put in maybe 15 hours total but even that little was enough to see why people rank it above Diablo II.

    I've barely played the sequel myself, but I'd guess the risk-taking is exactly why it edges out something like Diablo II for some voters.

    L'ambition est réelle mais ça reste inégal, la comparaison avec le premier montre surtout que les risques pris ne payent pas toujours.

    Le classement le place trop souvent au-dessus de sa propre suite en mérite alors qu'il est bancal par endroits, et franchement l'ambition ne suffit pas à masquer les défauts de rythme.

    I've only put a few sessions into it myself, but even that little time was enough to see the writing takes real risks the original never attempted.

    It gets slotted below the original constantly and I never understood why. The writing goes to places the first game never dared touch, and that alone should count for more in these rankings.

    Calling it bancal by endroits is fair, but the original still moves better from start to finish, which matters more to me than raw ambition.

    My kid asked why it's ranked lower than the first one, and honestly I didn't have a great answer.

    Sitting at 255th with a 63% win rate says the ranking undersells it more than the community actually does day to day. The duels it keeps winning against much newer titles suggest voters value what it attempted over polish.

    Didnt you also notice it wins duels mostly against jrpgs and rpgs, not against everything?

    Ambition is one word for it, I've used that word myself in threads I don't even remember writing anymore.
